How to use it
- Paste a channel link, an @handle or the link of one of the channel's videos, then press Get images.
- The profile picture and the banner appear at the largest size the tool can get.
- Press Download under each image.
Sizes
YouTube shows a profile picture at about 98×98 pixels, but stores it larger; this tool fetches the 800×800 version. Banners are uploaded at 2048×1152 or more, and only the central 1235×338 area is visible on every device.
Need your own art in another size afterwards? The profile picture resizer and the image resizer, which shows the banner's safe area, take the downloaded files straight away.
Good reasons to use it
Backing up your own channel art, preparing a collaboration post with the other creator's permission, or showing a channel in a news piece. A channel's logo is also its brand: don't use it in a way that suggests the channel endorses you.
Questions
- Why is the banner cropped?
- Some banners are only available in the cropped form YouTube shows on the channel page.
- Does it work for handles?
- Yes: @name, youtube.com/@name and channel links all work.
